What is Phytotherapy?
Basically phytotherapy is a term that refers to plant based medical therapies. This can also relate to herbalism, a folk and traditional medicinal practice based on the use of plants and plant extracts. People on all continents have long used hundreds, if not thousands, of indigenous plants for treatment of various ailments dating back to prehistory. Today the practice of phytotherapy is more refined and there are many well known herbs that can combat many symptoms.
What is a Nutraceutical?
Nutraceutical basically stands for foods that contain natural occurring active principles that are good for your health. The nutraceuticals from Phytosolution are formulas of condensed natural occurring active principles that are found naturally in various parts of plants; roots, seeds, flowers, fruits or leaves. We have extracted and condensed the best of these active principles and used these extracts in our herbal formulas so it is not necessary to consume vast quantities of plants that you would not normally eat.
What is a Tincture?
Tinctures are condensed liquid herbal extracts. A tincture is made by soaking the dried herb in a water alcohol solution for two weeks before filtering out the herb from the final tincture. It is possible to get tinctures consisting of one herb but most herbal tincture formulas we carry contain a combination of several different tinctures.
Are your products organic?
Yes. All the tinctures and herbal formulas offered by Phytosolution are created from biological agriculture and are completely organic.
Is it safe to take essential oils oraly?
Essential Oils must not be taken alone. There are several ways the Herboristorie recommends to take oils; these include, drinking in a glass of water, drip into a sugar cube, drip onto bread or mix with yogurt. When I take Immunoflex I normally take it in a short glass of water and drink it in one or two mouthfuls followed by a supplementary short glass of water to rinse the taste.
Will there be any complications with the medicine I'm taking?
Not normally, there are no known contraindications for the products currently offered on the Phytosolution website. The information we offer can not be accepted as medical advice, thus if you have any specific concerns related to a specific phytotherapy product and a medication you may be taking you should consult with your physician.
How do the herbal tinctures taste?
Each tincture has its own unique taste. If you can imagine how condensed plant extracts taste, that would be a good indication of the taste of the products. The products based on essential oils offer a unique taste and a somewhat interesting sensation.
Am I supposed to take this with water?
Yes. All tinctures must be mixed with water or juice before drinking.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We normally ship within one business day of receiving an order. Typically you can expect your package to arrive between 2 to 5 days after your order is shipped, depending on where in the US you live.
How does your satisfaction guarantee work?
Basically once you have tried our product for two weeks if you are not satisfied with the results we will refund the purchase price of that product. Shipping and handling is non refundable. Our
satisfaction guarantee is valid for 30 days following your purchase.
